Organized as part of HKUST’s 35th-anniversary celebrations, the SURREALITY large-scale cross-regional Mixed Reality (MR) × Artificial Intelligence (AI) Digital Art Exhibition opened on June 16 and June 17 at HKUST and HKUST(GZ), respectively.
Co-presented by both campuses, this pioneering showcase features digital masterpieces from renowned international, mainland Chinese, and dual-campus artists utilizing advanced MR, VR, and AI technologies. It not only showcases the latest in tech-driven art but also highlights the collaborative strengths of HKUST and HKUST(GZ) in interdisciplinary studies, computational creativity, and nurturing innovation talent for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The exhibition will be open to the public at the Guangzhou campus from July 1 to July 31, with further exhibition plans to be announced in due course.
