Date: October 20–23, 2026
Venue: Shaw Auditorium, HKUST
Breakthroughs in neurodegeneration research depend on scientific rigor, open collaboration, and a community committed to innovation. The International Society for Molecular Neurodegeneration (ISMND) champions these values as a global platform uniting researchers across disciplines to advance our understanding of neurodegenerative diseases and drive progress toward innovative diagnostics and advanced therapies.
To accelerate discoveries, ISMND supports a rich ecosystem of interactive forums, from international conferences to webinars, mentorship initiatives, and dedicated programs for early career investigators. These efforts help catalyze the exchange of emerging insights into the mechanisms of neurodegeneration at the molecular level and strengthen the global network working toward more comprehensive interventions.
This year’s ISMND biennial conference holds special significance because HKUST will host the event at the Shaw Auditorium during its 35th Anniversary celebrations. We warmly invite researchers, clinicians, and trainees to join us in shaping the future of molecular neurodegeneration and steering the next wave of discoveries.
