In celebration of the University's 35th anniversary, the Development and Alumni Office (DAO) organized an Alumni Get-together in London on July 11, 2026. The event brought together alumni from across the UK and beyond to gather with the visiting university leadership delegation which was led by President Prof. Nancy IP. Joining the delegation were senior leaders including Prof. Charles NG, Vice-President for Institutional Advancement and Prof. King LI, Dean of Medicine.
During the gathering, updates on HKUST’s latest developments were shared, with highlighting the ongoing lineup of 35th anniversary celebratory events and the launch of the new School of Medicine. The occasion provided a collaborative platform for attendees to share experiences, discuss potential collaborations, and celebrate the University’s remarkable growth over the past 35 years.
The event also featured the 35th Anniversary Wishes Activity, giving alumni and guests a meaningful opportunity to pen their personal wishes and forward-looking aspirations for HKUST’s future.
