HKUST’s Clear Water Bay and Guangzhou campuses successfully brought their shared vision of using AI for social good to life through the cross-campus "AI for Society" Campaign, marking the University’s 35th Anniversary. Highlights included the successful hosting of the Sixth SCIISummit 2026 at HKUST (Guangzhou), which gathered nearly 200 interdisciplinary participants; and the "AI for Society Research Week", featuring high-level forums, workshops, seminars, and a Global Leaders Forum that advanced dialogue on AI ethics, governance, and societal impact.
