To celebrate HKUST’s 35th Anniversary, the Dean of Students’ Office, the Health, Safety and Environment Office, and Shaw Auditorium are joining forces for an inspiring year-long initiative: 35 blood drives across 2026, spanning both the Clear Water Bay and Guangzhou campuses.
This milestone campaign unites the entire HKUST community through a shared mission of safeguarding public health. By donating blood, we will directly support the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service and bring life-saving assistance to patients who urgently depend on blood donations every single day.
As part of the 35th Anniversary Celebration, the initiative reflects HKUST’s longstanding spirit of volunteerism, civic engagement, and commitment to social responsibility. It also reinforces the University’s dedication to healthcare innovation—supporting our strategic plans to establish Hong Kong’s third medical school.
